Executive Team
Dot Origin’s executive team bring unparalleled expertise to the realisation of the company’s vision – creating innovative and cost effective solutions to address the needs of specific markets, with mainstream NFC, RFID and PKI technologies.
Dan Isaaman
CEO
A natural entrepreneur, Dan started his computing career while still at school, authoring three programming books for kids, and writing machine code for several companies. After graduating from Manchester University with a degree in Computer Engineering, he immediately launched a hardware and software development consultancy in London, and the rest, as they say, is history.
Dan has been intimately involved in the conception and launch of many products and solutions over several decades. These span different markets including machine vision, retail automation, mobile technology, digital payments, identity and security. Amongst other topics he is a subject matter expert on PKI smartcard security and mobile NFC applications.
He founded Dot Origin to make these technologies more easily available, which is how the company’s well-known online store, Smartcard Focus, was born. Dan and his team now focus on developing unique and powerful solutions to everyday problems, using their combined knowledge and experience, as well as many valued technology partnerships forged over time.
Like his father, Dan’s main hobby is his work, but he does sometimes find time to engineer interesting and unusual things in and around the home.
